Ruddock Park is a fantastic family park with a refurbished pirate play structure, covered picnic tables, and various activities for kids of all ages. It offers a scooter track, bike path, and spacious oval for sports. The park also features tennis courts, BBQ facilities, and shaded picnic areas. It recently reopened with a brand new bike track, basketball court, and exercise equipment. The park is well-maintained, clean, and has ample parking. It's a beautiful and peaceful environment, perfect for family picnics and gatherings. Overall, Ruddock Park is highly recommended for its amenities and enjoyable outdoor experiences.

You should first check with Hornsby council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
